Moeldoko Sets Priorities for Presidential Staff Office in Post-Eid Al-Fitr

The Chief of Staff to the President Moeldoko recently led an evaluation meeting with the deputies of the Executive Office of the President (KSP) to ensure that all national priority programs will be implemented after this year’s Eid Al-Fitr holiday. In the meeting, which took place on Thursday (4/27) at the Bina Graha Building in Jakarta, Moeldoko instructed all KSP advisors to focus on issues related to economic, political, and social stability.

According to Moeldoko, the KSP must be ready to work to the maximum to safeguard all priority programs, even in the face of challenging situations that may arise after the Eid holiday. He emphasized that the situation after Eid will be difficult, but the performance of the KSP must not be affected. Instead, there should be new enthusiasm and more diligence in working.

During the meeting, Moeldoko also highlighted the impact of rising prices on inflation and the Gini Ratio, which measures the level of inequality in expenditure among the population. He expressed concern that this condition could create new poor communities. Additionally, an unstable economic situation can also disrupt the condition of security and public order.

Therefore, the Office must focus on economic stability, especially the development of the state budget and food prices, which are the main focus. Political stability is also crucial, as it can affect economic and social security stability.

Moeldoko urged all parties, especially government employees, not to get lost in excessive social media publications. Instead, he emphasized the importance of the work behind the scenes to serve the community, which will be more appreciated.

“All parties are expected to work together to achieve stability and overcome all challenges. There should be no national priority programs that fail, especially since our work time is already running out,” Moeldoko concluded.

With Moeldoko’s guidance, the KSP is expected to be ready to work hard to safeguard national priority programs after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. By focusing on economic, political, and social stability, the KSP will help to ensure that the nation can overcome any challenges that may arise.
