President Joko Widodo and Vice President K.H. Ma'ruf Amin has stated their commitment to publicly report their targets and achievements throughout the year of their firm leadership in order to provide a source of knowledge and insights for the public and stakeholders regarding the President’s priority programs, strategies, goals and plans.
The public health conundrum caused by the existing COVID-19 pandemic has affected the implementation of several plans and programs by the government. Nevertheless, the President has vowed to remain firm in showcasing his strong leadership. Despite the slow economic growth due to the global pandemic fallout, the President still holds his vision in realizing five strategic goals for an advanced, equal, independent and prosperous Indonesia.
The President also instructed an increase of budget allocation on health, social and economic recovery, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives. Furthermore, the five strategic development goals are the pillars of Indonesia's Vision 2045 and the government will continuously work on their promises to ensure the sustainable development of Indonesia.
This annual report is part of the government effort in guaranteeing transparent public information.
